All entries except Floral Arrangements and Students are to be grown by the exhibitor.
DISTINCT means different colour or cultivar. (Definitely Different)
NND means Not Necessarily Distinct. (May be the same or different)
All bottles, water & corks will be supplied. (Please ensure all containers are filled with water when staging).
The Exhibitor must stage Exhibits. Stewards will assist if necessary.
Multi Stem exhibits are to be staged in a single green vase (supplied) excepting the Novice Classes unless otherwise stated.
Stem: A stem is defined as an original stem which carries a single bloom or bud.
Cut: A cut is a stem that carries more than one bloom, and/or Bud/s
Exhibitors Requirements in the Rose Sections
Open Section: All exhibitors are eligible to enter.
Intermediate: This section is for exhibitors who have won a "Novice Champion Award but excludes 'A' and 'B" grade Rose Society of S.A. exhibitors. However, Novice and 'C' grade Rose Society of S.A. members can exhibit in these classes.
Novice Section: The section is for all exhibitors who have NOT won a "Novice Championship" Award or higher in the Barossa Rose & Flower Show.
Exhibitors who have previously entered in a Rose Society of S.A. Inc. competition are INELIGIBLE to be classed as a Novice.
