‘Preparing the Pumpkin for Your Arrangement’

Class 79 & 81

A day or two before the show prepare your pumpkin by cutting off the top and removing all the insides. Swirl the inside with rubbing alcohol to kill the bacteria that causes the pumpkin to rot. Allow to dry. Cut some floral foam to fit the pumpkin & soak until well absorbed. Place wet foam in to the hollow pumpkin & fill with water. The pumpkin is now ready for you to create your own masterpiece.
